Joan Fucillo, a Unite NY supporter, wrote an op-ed in the Times Union about how open primaries and ranked-choice voting would make the electoral process fairer and more equal.
“New York can address voters’ nearly universal dissatisfaction with the political process and mitigate the effects of any gerrymandering in New York. How? By passing legislation to make voting fairer and more equal — by adopting open primaries and ranked-choice voting,” she wrote.
